Commercial production unit in Ghana by 2014

In the past years, Safi Sana has done a lot of research and testing with the aim to start the first commercial upscaled project in the Greater Accra Region. The Safi Sana team in Ghana with support of the Dutch partners, is working hard to kickstart the first commercial production plant for the treatment of local waste streams, production of organic fertiliser and electricity for the local grid. We have signed agreements with the Ashaiman Municipality and stakeholders involved in the local sanitation, waste, fertiliser and energy sectors. It is expected that the large scale commercial plant will be fully operational in the beginning of 2014. Continue reading
