Safi Sana is happy to join the New Business Challenge Netherlands – Ghana Sustainable Trade, commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Accra and the RvO (the Netherlands Enterprise Agency).

The NBC is a business case competition where Dutch and Ghanaian students and starters work together in mixed teams on solutions for companies.

Safi Sana has asked the teams to come up with a new sustainable business model for our local entrepreneurs of toilet blocks in Ashaiman. The toilet operators face several challenges in their operations. They must optimize revenue while maintaining high levels of hygiene. The new business model should enable them to increase revenue and make a profit and thus increase living standards.

The students will work together to solve this challenge via an online platform. In the next two months they will embark on study trips to Ghana and The Netherlands, and in October they will present their business cases. We are looking forward to the solutions the students will come up with!

The other companies involved in this challenge are Tony Chocolonely & Waka Waka, Koudijs Animal Nutrition, Landmapp and Maxim Nyansa IT Solutions.
